Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erik Löfgren started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the game, Oskar Kruuse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SkånePågarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool FC the free kick. In the 6th match minute, SkånePågarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oskar Kruuse to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yngve Edström in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John Kolberg saved SkånePågarna from getting behind. If Erik Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Kolberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Snäll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in SkånePågarna's zone, Yngve Edström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. John Kolberg came out of the goal and Yngve Edström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yngve Edström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Kolberg having to interfere. John Kolberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Levander in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute Yngve Edström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Kolberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Yngve Edström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of John Kolberg. Yngve Edström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yngve Edström in the 35th minute of play forced SkånePågarna's goalkeeper John Kolberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Yngve Edström came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Liverpool FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yngve Edström couldn't finish the play. Robin Snäll's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but John Kolberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Yngve Edström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. John Kolberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yngve Edström struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. John Kolberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

John Kolberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yngve Edström, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Yngve Edström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. John Kolberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alvin Granberg struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. John Kolberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liverpool FC. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Robin Snäll notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of SkånePågarna's John Kolberg. John Kolberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yngve Edström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without John Kolberg having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Emil Levander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of John Kolberg. SkånePågarna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emil Levander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Emil Levander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liverpool FC's Henning Brandin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Liverpool FC from getting a goal against them. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Liverpool FC fully deserved thier win.
