Ola Sikström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Måns Qvalfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Christoffer Hjälm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hoting RK's supporters rose to their feet, but Christoffer Hjälm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Abrahamsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Skepplanda FK's Jimmie Bank got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Alexander Rudqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Douglas Bredberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ola Sikström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Robin Abrahamsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Martinsson kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Hoting RK's Christoffer Hjälm got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Ola Sikström took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Robin Abrahamsson to make any attempt to save it. Alexander Rudqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Bredberg having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Ola Sikström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Robin Abrahamsson, 3-1. After having played for 45 minutes, Ola Sikström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hoting RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ola Sikström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jimmie Bank's late challenge caught a Hoting RK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmie Bank helped the player get up and apologised. 47 minutes into the match, Skepplanda FK's goalkeeper Robin Abrahamsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christoffer Hjälm. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ola Sikström to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Martinsson in the 53rd minute of play forced Skepplanda FK's goalkeeper Robin Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin Abrahamsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoffer Hjälm in the 54th minute of play. If Ola Sikström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 59 minutes, Ola Sikström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hoting RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ola Sikström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christoffer Hjälm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Abrahamsson having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Måns Qvalfeldt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skepplanda FK and the Hoting RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Måns Qvalfeldt hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Skepplanda FK defense, Ola Sikström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robin Abrahamsson. The Skepplanda FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robin Abrahamsson should have stopped the shot. When Hoting RK's Ola Sikström in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skepplanda FK's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Hoting RK's Douglas Bredberg got control of the ball when Andréas Sander tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Sikström in the 88th minute of play forced Skepplanda FK's goalkeeper Robin Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin Abrahamsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christoffer Hjälm, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Alexander Rudqvist hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Skepplanda FK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hoting RK.
