Morgan Smed made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when André Ricardo sent off a good shot on target. Morgan Smed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Ricardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddie Bennet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. In the 26th minute, Einar Ennegren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to THE ONE THE ONLY ONE getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tim Martinsson hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Einar Ennegren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Morgan Smed. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 34th minute Bernt Bergkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morgan Smed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Forsberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Morgan Smed having to make a save. In the 42nd minute, Billy Forsberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Västra Frölunda's Peder Isaksson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 45th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for THE ONE THE ONLY ONE. When Karl-Johan Bäcklin fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Västra Frölunda's protests and gave Karl-Johan Bäcklin a yellow card for diving instead.

The wind increased when Rikard Forss made the kick off in the second half. Billy Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Morgan Smed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Ricardo in the 55th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling André Ricardo in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Morgan Smed prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute, André Ricardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Billy Forsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morgan Smed having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, THE ONE THE ONLY ONE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Pombal to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Västra Frölunda's Eddie Bennet ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arman Hermansson. Arman Hermansson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. If André Ricardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Ricardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morgan Smed having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Västra Frölunda's Rikard Forss got a free kick in the 84th minute. A collision led to THE ONE THE ONLY ONE getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Anders Hammarberg hit a great ball. Morgan Smed showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Einar Ennegren in the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Västra Frölunda's goal looked a bit too open when André Ricardo came free, but Morgan Smed reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Ludwig Brander dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arman Hermansson, 4-2. THE ONE THE ONLY ONE walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
