With a little luck, Höljes RK's Matthias Gustavsson got control of the ball when Joacim Drake tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Höljes RK's goalkeeper Matthias Gustavsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joacim Drake. In the 12th minute Pontus Täman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Georg Joensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harald Blom in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthias Gustavsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Ankarsrum's zone, Pontus Täman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georg Joensson came out of the goal and Pontus Täman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Georg Joensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pontus Täman, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 35th minute, Alvin Öberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Pontus Täman came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Höljes RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pontus Täman couldn't finish the play. Matthias Gustavsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Björn Vollander in the 42nd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Hannes Jonsson in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Höljes RK's Algot Dalgren.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harald Blom to make the kick off. Matthias Gustavsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Blom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Blom in the 54th minute of play forced Höljes RK's goalkeeper Matthias Gustavsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th match minute, Höljes RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximilian Biörk to maneuver through the defense. When Pontus Täman came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Höljes RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pontus Täman couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Höljes RK getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Stefan Åberg hit a great ball. After 63 minutes, Pontus Täman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Höljes RK and the Ankarsrum players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 played minutes Höljes RK got a freekick which was hit by Pontus Täman. After having played for 71 minutes, Joacim Drake managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ankarsrum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joacim Drake was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Harald Blom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Matthias Gustavsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hjalmar Sillén kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Matthias Gustavsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joacim Drake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes of play, Ankarsrum's Verner Almqvist made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matthias Gustavsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Algot Dalgren fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Höljes RK's protests and gave Algot Dalgren a yellow card for diving instead. Algot Dalgren kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Ankarsrum's goalkeeper Georg Joensson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pontus Täman. Georg Joensson came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Höljes RK's Pontus Täman. But to his dismay, Pontus Täman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ankarsrum's zone, Pontus Täman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georg Joensson came out of the goal and Pontus Täman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Georg Joensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Göransson in the 95th minute of play. Ankarsrum's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
