The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mattias Wallengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Ahlroth having to interfere. In the 7th minute Sebastian Danielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Ahlroth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Carl Lidberg fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gunnarn IFK's protests and gave Carl Lidberg a yellow card for diving instead. Filip Ahlroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Danielsson in the 14th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Hammarby TFF got a freekick which was hit by Gottfrid Skog. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Danielsson in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filip Ahlroth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hammarby TFF's Filip Ahlroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Danielsson in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Gottfrid Skog was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hammarby TFF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gunnarn IFK the free kick. Sebastian Danielsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Filip Ahlroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Danielsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Ahlroth having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Hammarby TFF's goal looked a bit too open when Mattias Wallengren came free, but Filip Ahlroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Mattias Wallengren notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Hammarby TFF's Filip Ahlroth. Filip Ahlroth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 39th minute, Sebastian Danielsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filip Ahlroth was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mattias Wallengren in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filip Ahlroth saved Hammarby TFF from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anders Sjö to make the kick off. With a little luck, Hammarby TFF's Filip Ahlroth got control of the ball when Sebastian Danielsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filip Ahlroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Wallengren in the 54th minute of the match. If Anders Sjö had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 59 minutes, Anders Sjö managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hammarby TFF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anders Sjö was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filip Ahlroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Wallengren, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mattias Wallengren in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filip Ahlroth saved Hammarby TFF from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Hammarby TFF's zone, Sebastian Danielsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Ahlroth came out of the goal and Sebastian Danielsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Sebastian Danielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gunnarn IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Danielsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mattias Wallengren came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Gunnarn IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mattias Wallengren couldn't finish the play. Mattias Wallengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Ahlroth having to interfere. Filip Ahlroth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Wallengren in the 87th minute of play. When Sebastian Danielsson came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Gunnarn IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Danielsson couldn't finish the play. Gunnarn IFK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
