Spectators: 6414 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ove Östensson took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, A.I.K.'s goal looked a bit too open when Evert Enegren came free, but Manos Kalikis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernt Lindgren in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustav Dahlgren saved Lyrestad from getting behind. Jimmie Molander kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, A.I.K.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ove Östensson came free, but Manos Kalikis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Alvar Alebeck managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.I.K.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Alvar Alebeck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustav Dahlgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Lyrestad's goalkeeper Gustav Dahlgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernt Lindgren. Herbert Hedlund kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Ove Östensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Greger Larsfelt kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. A.I.K.'s Manos Kalikis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Östensson in the 31st minute of play. Lyrestad's Gustav Dahlgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Lyrestad from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the game, Lucas Nordal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lyrestad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.I.K. the free kick. Alexander Olofsson placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Ove Östensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manos Kalikis having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Bernt Lindgren made the kick off in the second half. A.I.K.'s Manos Kalikis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Bank in the 52nd minute of play. Lyrestad's Evert Enegren got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, A.I.K.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ove Östensson came free, but Manos Kalikis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, A.I.K. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kim Holmberg to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Evert Enegren notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of A.I.K.'s Manos Kalikis. Manos Kalikis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evert Enegren got free with Manos Kalikis in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evert Enegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Manos Kalikis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernt Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Dahlgren having to interfere. In the 80th minute Ove Östensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manos Kalikis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bernt Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Åke Lägdin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Dahlgren having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Greger Larsfelt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ralf Jonsson came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Lyrestad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ralf Jonsson couldn't finish the play.
