Rutger Dalberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Collin in the 4th minute. If Ian Collin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Rutger Dalberg throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ian Collin in the 11thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 12 minutes into the match, Istanbul 1453's Thor Hedman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andréas Vall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Istanbul 1453 booed when Miguels Mannar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Fransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arne Helström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Christian Rang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miguels Mannar's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Rang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rutger Dalberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lennart Elg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rutger Dalberg made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Matthias Kollberg sent off a good shot on target. Hans Kullander's late challenge caught a Miguels Mannar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Kullander helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Istanbul 1453 getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Hans Kullander hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Alvar Elg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rutger Dalberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Thomas Karlstedt in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Istanbul 1453's Thor Hedman. Olov Wenerdahl's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rutger Dalberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Torsten Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart Elg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ian Collin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rutger Dalberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sören Hjortsberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Marc Hagström hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Ian Collin struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Rutger Dalberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miguels Mannar. If Lennart Elg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rutger Dalberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olov Wenerdahl went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute, Lennart Elg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Miguels Mannar booed when Istanbul 1453 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agne Bengtsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguels Mannar's Matthias Kollberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Istanbul 1453. In the 78th minute Alvar Elg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rutger Dalberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rutger Dalberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Elg in the 79th minute of play. Istanbul 1453's Hans Kullander got his second yellow card of the match in the 80th minute. The referee ordered Hans Kullander off the ground. After a rather tough play, Istanbul 1453's Hans Kullander got a free kick in the 80th minute. When the referee ended the match the Miguels Mannar players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
