In the 7th minute, Kostadin Dalov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Humlorna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, FC.intermilano's goal looked a bit too open when Kostadin Dalov came free, but Olov Sundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Juan Pablo Peralta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olov Sundin was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Kostadin Dalov took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olov Sundin. Olov Sundin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Juan Pablo Peralta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Olov Sundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urban Engman kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of FC.intermilano booed when Humlorna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Broberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Ingvar Snäll cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Robert Lingren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kostadin Dalov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kostadin Dalov scored 1-4 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olov Sundin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Olov Sundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Pablo Peralta in the 44th minute of play. Kostadin Dalov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olov Sundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Erik Fredriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjell Ahlrot was the one to do the kick off. Kostadin Dalov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olov Sundin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils-Erik Fredriksson in the 61st minute. After 62 played minutes FC.intermilano got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Berggren. After 66 played minutes FC.intermilano got a freekick which was hit by Arvin Hökqvist. Kostadin Dalov received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Olov Sundin came out and tried to block the shot, but Kostadin Dalov slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute Kostadin Dalov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olov Sundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Nils-Erik Fredriksson came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Humlorna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils-Erik Fredriksson couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute, Humlorna's Kostadin Dalov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. If Kostadin Dalov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Humlorna's Olov Sundin threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kostadin Dalov, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Olov Sundin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kostadin Dalov, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC.intermilano's zone, Juan Pablo Peralta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Sundin came out of the goal and Juan Pablo Peralta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
