Vidar Barck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börje Mellin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, Fc Trelleborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Mellin to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Timmersdala RK's Kjell Ström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After 37 minutes, Tim Hagström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Trelleborg and the Timmersdala RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjell Ström was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Fc Trelleborg booed when Timmersdala RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Brummer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Trelleborg's zone, Kjell Ström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vilgot Björkdal came out of the goal and Kjell Ström tried to chip the ball over his head.
