Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Leif Uggstedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mats Tinglöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Vemdalen's Martin Hydén got a free kick in the 10th minute. Marko Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Tinglöf in the 13th minute of play. Folke Rudqvist hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ture Lindgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Joachim Vassenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ture Lindgren in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Joachim Vassenius, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ture Lindgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joachim Vassenius having to make a save. Leif Uggstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Barnängens FG's zone, Joel Pilberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joachim Vassenius came out of the goal and Joel Pilberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After recieving a nice pass, Vemdalen's Edvin Åberg tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Barnängens FG got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Käller. Vemdalen's Ture Lindgren got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mats Tinglöf to strike the kick off in the second half. Ture Lindgren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ture Lindgren hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Leif Uggstedt came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Barnängens FG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leif Uggstedt couldn't finish the play. Joachim Vassenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ture Lindgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ture Lindgren's late challenge caught a Barnängens FG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ture Lindgren helped the player get up and apologised. Ture Lindgren kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The Vemdalen fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Vemdalen's Ture Lindgren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Vemdalen getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tom Strömqvist hit a great ball. Vemdalen's Edvin Åberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Barnängens FG. If Ture Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marko Bergqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Tinglöf in the 93rd minute of play. There was no doubt that Vemdalen were the better team. Vemdalen's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
