When Herman Sörman came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Vännäs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herman Sörman couldn't finish the play. Simon Dahlkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Ek having to make a save. If Roger Lange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Pilberg's late challenge caught a Arvidsjaur's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Pilberg helped the player get up and apologised. Daniel Pilberg hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Vännäs's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Dahlkvist came free, but Michael Ek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Jan-Olof Lundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rune Apelqvist might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Billy Drewitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rune Apelqvist ran back to his position shaking his head. Simon Dahlkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Michael Ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Vännäs's goalkeeper Michael Ek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roger Lange. The Arvidsjaur players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vännäs were winning 0-1.

The supporters of Vännäs booed when Arvidsjaur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Gråberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61stth minute of the game Herman Sörman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arvidsjaur's Billy Drewitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Arvidsjaur's Billy Drewitz got control of the ball when Johan Dalström tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Simon Dahlkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arvidsjaur's supporters rose to their feet, but Simon Dahlkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Ek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ivar Mickelsson fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arvidsjaur's protests and gave Ivar Mickelsson a yellow card for diving instead. Ivar Mickelsson hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute of the match Jan-Olof Lundberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Billy Drewitz skillfully saved the ball. Simon Dahlkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Michael Ek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Arvidsjaur supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vännäs's performance. The match ended with a win for Vännäs.
