Yngve Spetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Yngve Spetz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per Blomkvist was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After 19 played minutes Höganäs BK got a freekick which was hit by Östen Tunander. After recieving a nice pass, GHOST's Jesper Blomquist tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 21st match minute, Höganäs BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Kjellberg to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Höganäs BK booed when GHOST was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Eliasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvar Lundin hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Per Blomkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yngve Spetz in the 30th minute of the match. Christian Bratt made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Ian Vibjörnsson sent off a good shot on target. Jack Nordström's late challenge caught a Höganäs BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jack Nordström helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Höganäs BK booed when GHOST was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 played minutes GHOST got a freekick which was hit by Gustav Eliasson. In the 41st minute of the match Jesper Blomquist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Per Blomkvist skillfully saved the ball. After 44 played minutes Höganäs BK got a freekick which was hit by Alvar Lundin. Per Blomkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Nordström, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Sven-Ove Nordström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Ove Nordström was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, GHOST's Sven-Ove Nordström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per Blomkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, GHOST's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Vibjörnsson came free, but Christian Bratt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustav Eliasson hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Höganäs BK's Herbert Alberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Bratt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, one of Höganäs BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave GHOST a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jesper Blomquist, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Höganäs BK's Per Blomkvist. 0-3. Ian Vibjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Christian Bratt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Höganäs BK's goalkeeper Per Blomkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yngve Spetz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 83rd minute. GHOST's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Yngve Spetz took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per Blomkvist. Per Blomkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Höganäs BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Sven-Ove Nordström scored to the left of an out of position Per Blomkvist, making the score, 0-5. After 97 minutes, Sven-Olof Hjälm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GHOST and the Höganäs BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 98th minute, Sven-Olof Hjälm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over GHOST could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Höganäs BK throughout the match.
