Gunnar Linberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yngve Spetz in the 30th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Sven-Ove Nordström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gunnar Linberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gunnar Linberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Ove Nordström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Ove Nordström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gunnar Linberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernt Hafström was the one to do the kick off. Mergim Shala's late challenge caught a Färentuna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mergim Shala helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Färentuna booed when GHOST was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mergim Shala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Färentuna's Bernt Hafström got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Färentuna's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernt Hafström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Bratt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernt Hafström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Bratt having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimmie Dahlkvist during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes Färentuna got a freekick which was hit by Jimmie Dahlkvist. After 68 minutes of play, Färentuna's Bernt Hafström made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Bratt was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, Yngve Spetz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gunnar Linberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils-Åke Håkansson in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Bratt saved GHOST from getting behind. Gustav Eliasson kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Sven-Ove Nordström managed to get in a good position for a shot. GHOST's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Ove Nordström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunnar Linberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nils-Åke Håkansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Christian Bratt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
