In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arnäsvall's goalkeeper Torbjörn Albohm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ingmar Björck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Per-Olof Käcker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tived BK's zone, Man Güell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Olof Käcker came out of the goal and Man Güell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnäsvall's Ingmar Björck got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ted Beneth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Per-Olof Käcker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnäsvall's Ingmar Björck got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ingmar Björck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Per-Olof Käcker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Ingmar Björck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Per-Olof Käcker breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th minute, Man Güell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Tived BK's Sven-Ove Fredriksson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torbjörn Albohm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Arnäsvall's Ingmar Björck got a free kick in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Ingmar Björck made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingmar Björck in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per-Olof Käcker saved Tived BK from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Tived BK's zone, Man Güell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Olof Käcker came out of the goal and Man Güell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Per-Olof Käcker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Beneth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ingmar Björck struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Per-Olof Käcker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arnäsvall. The supporters of Arnäsvall booed when Tived BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pontus Backlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingmar Björcks short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Per-Olof Käcker to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 67 minutes into the game, Pontus Backlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tived BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arnäsvall the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tived BK's Pontus Backlund got a free kick in the 67th minute. Tived BK's Per-Olof Käcker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ingmar Björck in the 69th minute of play. Man Güell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingmar Björck scored 1-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Per-Olof Käcker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Per-Olof Käcker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Beneth in the 80th minute of play. Bernt Holmberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pontus Backlund hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Ingmar Björck who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Per-Olof Käcker when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ingmar Björck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Arnäsvall's Man Güell got a free kick in the 94th minute. Arnäsvall were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Tived BK to leave the ground with a draw.
