The referee ignored Hunters's protests and gave Remigio Illart a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute, Remigio Illart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomáš Smrčka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Georg Beckman in the 19th minute of play. Hunters's Tomáš Smrčka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Rolfsson in the 29th minute of play. Tomáš Smrčka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Beckman in the 32nd minute of the match. Carl Enström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Christopher Vennerlund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Dag Bergqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dag Bergqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Rune Runeberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Los's Dag Bergqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Illart in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Hunters booed when Los was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesper Mickelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hunters's Carl Enström got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christopher Vennerlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Remigio Illart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dag Bergqvist came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hunters's Carl Enström. But to his dismay, Carl Enström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carl Enström during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carl Enström hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Remigio Illart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Georg Beckman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Hunters were the better team. Hunters's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
