Grunden Boys's Edgar Almkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Bergren in the 54th minute of play. Alfred Pålsson got a throw-in 67 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Verner Waller. In the 69th minute, Eusebio Silvino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Almkvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Edgar Almkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Kilberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Rudolf Bållström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Ingvar Kilberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Almkvist. Grunden Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingvar Kilberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. After some careless play in the Grunden Boys defense, Ingvar Kilberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Almkvist. The Grunden Boys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Almkvist should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Mamet fc had played much better football throughout.
