Hammenhög's Gabriel Hermansson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Hammenhög from getting a goal against them. Agne Wallin's late challenge caught a Hammenhög's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agne Wallin helped the player get up and apologised. Agne Wallin hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 24th match minute, Grunden Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudolf Bållström to maneuver through the defense. Edgar Almkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Glanselius in the 26th minute of the match. Gabriel Hermansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Bållström in the 27th minute of play. Oskar Glanselius hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Gabriel Hermansson stood somewhat misplaced when Rudolf Bållström came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 29 minute. Rudolf Bållström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Hermansson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Rudolf Bållström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Hermansson having to interfere. Rudolf Bållström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rudolf Bållström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Hermansson having to make a save. In the 44th minute Arvin Axelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Almkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Domingues might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Hermansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredo Domingues ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustaf Jonsson made a kick off. Alfredo Domingues blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gabriel Hermansson having to make a save. Arvin Axelsson hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Rudolf Bållström kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Edgar Almkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaf Jonsson's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Gabriel Hermansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Bållström, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Gabriel Hermansson came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Grunden Boys's Agne Wallin. But to his dismay, Agne Wallin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Rudolf Bållström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Hermansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Bållström in the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match Anthon Östensson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gabriel Hermansson skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, Agne Wallin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grunden Boys's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agne Wallin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Hermansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agne Wallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
