A collision led to Hisingen FC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Wictor Lundgren hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klas Sandberg got free with Traian Chevereșan in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The long shot by Pär Finman in the 10th minute really tested Traian Chevereșan's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 12 played minutes Hisingen FC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Tunberg. 15 minutes into the match, Näsets SK's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Domingues came free, but Claes Lindberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Näsets SK's goalkeeper Claes Lindberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Hisingen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Klas Sandberg came free, but Traian Chevereșan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Traian Chevereșan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klas Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 28th minute, Armando Domingues made a precise shot to the right of Claes Lindberg. Näsets SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After having played for 33 minutes, Björn Kilman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Näsets SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Björn Kilman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hisingen FC's Traian Chevereșan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Sandberg in the 34th minute of play. Milivoj Pavelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Armando Domingues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Claes Lindberg. Näsets SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Domingues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Milivoj Pavelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Lindberg having to interfere. After the first half Hisingen FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 52 played minutes Hisingen FC got a freekick which was hit by Bengt-Åke Rudqvist. Traian Chevereșan came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Näsets SK's Klas Sandberg. But to his dismay, Klas Sandberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils-Åke Andreasson in the 60th minute of play forced Hisingen FC's goalkeeper Traian Chevereșan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Traian Chevereșan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Åke Andreasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When Stellan Eliasson fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hisingen FC's protests and gave Stellan Eliasson a yellow card for diving instead. Stellan Eliasson hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Milivoj Pavelin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Hisingen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Åke Andreasson came free, but Traian Chevereșan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claes Lindberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Domingues in the 72nd minute of play. Traian Chevereșan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klas Sandberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hisingen FC's zone, Nils-Åke Andreasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Traian Chevereșan came out of the goal and Nils-Åke Andreasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Milivoj Pavelin came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Hisingen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milivoj Pavelin couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Näsets SK's Greg Zapata got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Traian Chevereșan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Åke Andreasson in the 85th minute of the match. Claes Lindberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milivoj Pavelin in the 91st minute. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Näsets SK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bengt-Åke Rudqvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Hisingen FC's players had a chance to rest. Bengt-Åke Rudqvist made a great header on Hisingen FC's corner, it was just that Näsets SK's Claes Lindberg managed to reach the ball for a save. 95 minutes into the game, Armando Domingues recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claes Lindberg. Armando Domingues showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. The Näsets SK manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Hisingen FC to win.
