Ingemar Melin made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Egon Andreasson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zebastian Blomkvist in the 13th minute of play forced Spekeröd's goalkeeper Ingemar Melin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Uno Larsfelt made a precise shot to the right of Rudolf Månsson. Västerlanda IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony Hellbom in the 22nd minute of play forced Västerlanda IFK's goalkeeper Rudolf Månsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
