Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Mambas FC's Norbert Domarecki started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Penescu in the 5th minute of play forced Mambas FC's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommarp IF's Björn Pihlgren got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 18 played minutes Mambas FC got a freekick which was hit by Fatih Sultan-Mehmet. In the 20th match minute, Tommarp IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvald Barck to maneuver through the defense. Tata Stie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Levander in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Manole Maruță fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Karl-Ove Tunander, passed just outside the right post. Karl-Ove Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Maruță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Viktor Levander came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Mambas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Viktor Levander couldn't finish the play. Osvald Barck hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Karl-Ove Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iurie Penescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Tobias Ryberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tata Stie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viktor Levander in the 40th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Tommarp IF's Tata Stie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Tommarp IF from getting a goal against them. Viktor Levander kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Karl-Erik Bagge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fatih Sultan-Mehmet fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mambas FC's protests and gave Fatih Sultan-Mehmet a yellow card for diving instead. 67 minutes into the match, Manole Maruță notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Mambas FC's Karl-Ove Tunander. Karl-Ove Tunander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karl-Ove Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iurie Penescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 72 minutes of play Mambas FC's Fatih Sultan-Mehmet was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Tommarp IF booed when Mambas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fatih Sultan-Mehmet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Sten Dahlberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mambas FC's Karl-Ove Tunander didn't even have to move. Mambas FC made a substitution. Sakarias Olofsson replaced Harry Ekeroth. The Mambas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Ove Tunander should have stopped the shot. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Tommarp IF were victorious despite being under pressure from Mambas FC for much of the match.
