PAOK FC's attentive Johannes Ståhlberg managed to snatch the ball when Birger Eklund made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. In the 69th minute, Valdemar Vidman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stig-Åke Vibjörnsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When Valdemar Vidman came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the PAOK FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdemar Vidman couldn't finish the play. In the 77thth minute of the game Christer Haeger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PAOK FC's Nikos Kaldelis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Mathias Lindman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikos Kaldelis. PAOK FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathias Lindman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 82nd minute Christer Haeger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Kaldelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Rickard Fransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikos Kaldelis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Haeger, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
