Henry Berggren struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Ola Lundin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esset FC. 11 minutes into the game, Henry Bredberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bjärred's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esset FC the free kick. After 11 played minutes Bjärred got a freekick which was hit by Henry Bredberg. After 14 played minutes Bjärred got a freekick which was hit by Joel Kjellqvist. In the 15th minute, Joel Kjellqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute of the match Oliver Bolin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ola Lundin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Berggren in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ola Lundin saved Bjärred from getting behind. Ola Lundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Berggren in the 19th minute of play. If Oliver Bolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Henry Berggren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ola Lundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ola Lundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Lundin in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute, Hans Lundin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Esset FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Esset FC's Henry Berggren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 35 minutes into the match, Esset FC's goalkeeper Carlos Etxeberria had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Göran Blomqvist. Timmy Sigman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 42 played minutes Esset FC got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Bolin. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Joel Kjellqvist made the kick off in the second half. Zbyszek Jastrowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute of the match Per-Åke Dalkvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Etxeberria skillfully saved the ball. Henry Berggren struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ola Lundin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esset FC. Göran Blomqvist hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Henry Berggren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esset FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Berggren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ola Lundin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bjärred's goalkeeper Ola Lundin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ola Lundin made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Henry Berggren sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 72nd minute by Henry Berggren got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Henry Berggren succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 79th playminute. Henry Berggrens short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Ola Lundin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Robin Söderberg's late challenge caught a Esset FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Söderberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, Bjärred was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henry Berggren got free with Ola Lundin in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bjärred's Ola Lundin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Bjärred from getting a goal against them. If Jesper Tham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Bjärred fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Esset FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
