Sven-Arne Lindblom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Deckberg in the 42nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wiktor Deckberg to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Knut Majman during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hisings Backa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolf Kvalfält was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hisings Backa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
