Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 5125, Seating: 1345, VIP seats: 30) Lennart Nyqvist started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd match minute, Jax FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Holmberg to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Magnus Smed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Nyqvist in the 10th minute of play forced Jax FC's goalkeeper Ingmar Wickander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Arne Lindblom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Karl-Magnus Smed fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ingmar Wickander having to interfere. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jax FC's goalkeeper Ingmar Wickander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rolf Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Leo Gustafsson came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Jax FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Gustafsson couldn't finish the play. Jax FC were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Morjärv IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonathan Molin took the corner. August Svensson hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When August Svensson got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Jax FC. In the 36th minute Leo Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Arne Lindblom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Fors hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leo Gustafsson made a kick off. Ingmar Wickander was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Lennart Nyqvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lennart Nyqvist really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. In the 55th minute, Rolf Holmberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jax FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A hard shot 63 in the game by Karl-Magnus Smed from a close distance when the talented Ingmar Wickander managed to make a qualified save. Jax FC's players were relieved. Lars Fors charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars Fors the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Morjärv IK's Lars Fors got a free kick in the 65th minute. Jax FC's Jonathan Molin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Morjärv IK. Leo Gustafsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Lindblom having to interfere. Lennart Nyqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ingmar Wickander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lennart Nyqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karl-Magnus Smed received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ingmar Wickander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Leo Gustafsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Karl-Magnus Smed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Knut Majman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lennart Nyqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ingmar Wickander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Morjärv IK's Karl-Magnus Smed got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
