Allan Groth took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Patrik Biörnberg. Strömsbruk FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Patrik Biörnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakob Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Jonas Bergström acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 15th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Per-Olof Larsfelt. In the 21st minute Jakob Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Biörnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johannes Nyström kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Jonas Bergström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sverker Brolin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sören Vennerström charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sören Vennerström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Strömsbruk FF booed when K3lbilo Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sören Vennerström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Jörn Igelström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonas Bergström skillfully saved the ball. In the 34th minute, Bengt Helberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrik Biörnberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Strömsbruk FF's zone, Henry Ahlstedt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrik Biörnberg came out of the goal and Henry Ahlstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Georg Melberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt Helberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Biörnberg having to interfere. Patrik Biörnberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt Helberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jakob Lindström in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrik Biörnberg saved Strömsbruk FF from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jakob Lindström was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the game, K3lbilo Football Club's Bengt Helberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrik Biörnberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Jakob Lindström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Biörnberg having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Strömsbruk FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vilhelm Stor to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Strömsbruk FF's zone, Jakob Lindström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrik Biörnberg came out of the goal and Jakob Lindström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henry Ahlstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrik Biörnberg having to interfere. After 70 minutes of play, K3lbilo Football Club's Bengt Helberg made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrik Biörnberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wilhelm Pilberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 79 minutes, Henry Ahlstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. K3lbilo Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Ahlstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonas Bergström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Pilberg in the 81st minute of play. After 83 minutes of play, K3lbilo Football Club's Bengt Helberg made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrik Biörnberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 86th minute Henry Ahlstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Biörnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Strömsbruk FF defense, Bengt Helberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrik Biörnberg. The Strömsbruk FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrik Biörnberg should have stopped the shot. When Bengt Helberg came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the K3lbilo Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt Helberg couldn't finish the play. After having played for 95 minutes, Henry Ahlstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
