Carl Arenius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrik Biörnberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute Sverker Brolin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, South Park Cows was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agne Wallman to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the South Park Cows defense, Wilhelm Pilberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronny Ekström. The South Park Cows fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronny Ekström should have stopped the shot. If Wilhelm Pilberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sverker Brolin was the one to do the kick off. Ronny Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sverker Brolin in the 60th minute of the match. 63 minutes in the game, Wilhelm Pilberg fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ronny Ekström having to interfere. Peter Deckberg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, South Park Cows's Peter Deckberg got a free kick in the 89th minute. Ronny Ekström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sverker Brolin in the 94th minute of play.
