Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Björköby's Andy Hägert started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Gottfrid Stigsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gunnar Apelquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Frans Olenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andy Hägert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henric Sundin having to interfere. Henric Sundin stood somewhat misplaced when Tommy Kaxe came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 16 minute. Andy Hägert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Henric Sundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Love United's Henric Sundin got control of the ball when Tommy Kaxe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Otto Ros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Frans Olenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the game, one of Love United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Love United:s Henric Sundin showed great skill when he stopped Hugo Vedholm:s penalty. 28 minutes into the match, Hugo Vedholm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henric Sundin. Love United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Vedholm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Love United's Fredrik Smitt got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Fredrik Smitt off the ground. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Love United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Björköby:s goal. Tommy Kaxe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henric Sundin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Henric Sundin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tommy Kaxe in the 39th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Björköby's Andy Hägert slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henric Sundin. That made the score 4-0 after 40 minutes of play. Gottfrid Stigsson struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Henric Sundin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Björköby. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Otto Ros made the kick off in the second half. If Otto Ros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Björköby getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gottfrid Stigsson hit a great ball. Andy Hägert struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Henric Sundin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Björköby. Henric Sundin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Kaxe in the 60th minute of play. Boris Jönsätt charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boris Jönsätt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Love United's Boris Jönsätt got a free kick in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Andy Hägert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Henric Sundin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andy Hägert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Malcolm Löfgren fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Love United's protests and gave Malcolm Löfgren a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Björköby booed when Love United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcolm Löfgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kaxe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Henric Sundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Tommy Kaxe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henric Sundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Love United's Alf Josefsson got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Tommy Kaxe made a precise shot to the right of Henric Sundin. Love United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Björköby players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
