Birger Lindman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birger Lindman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yngve Wester having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Valentin Broberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Kivik's goal looked a bit too open when Torbjörn Sundberg came free, but Oskar Haeger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jon Abrahamsson came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Kivik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jon Abrahamsson couldn't finish the play. After having played for 28 minutes, Harald Wiberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rivierans Guldgossar BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harald Wiberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torbjörn Sundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Haeger having to interfere. Torbjörn Sundberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Jon Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kivik's supporters rose to their feet, but Jon Abrahamsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yngve Wester breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the match, Kivik's Birger Lindman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yngve Wester narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mikael Målare hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Birger Lindman struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Yngve Wester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kivik. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Rivierans Guldgossar BK's Torbjörn Sundberg got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Birger Lindman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yngve Wester was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. After 62 played minutes Birger Lindman rounded Rivierans Guldgossar BK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. A collision led to Kivik getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Wilhelm Kristiansson hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Harald Wiberg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kivik's Oskar Haeger. Oskar Haeger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rivierans Guldgossar BK's Yngve Wester proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Rivierans Guldgossar BK from getting a goal against them. Torbjörn Sundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oskar Haeger having to interfere. Jon Abrahamsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Yngve Wester firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jon Abrahamsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Yngve Wester made a huge save. Birger Lindman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Kivik's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Linus Sjöman hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Lindman in the 96th minute of play forced Rivierans Guldgossar BK's goalkeeper Yngve Wester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
