Spectators: 7323 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Magne Nyström took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, one of Hasselfors:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hasselfors. Frans Lundberg shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Konrad Gerdberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Finska Lejonen's supporters rose to their feet, but Konrad Gerdberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gert Björklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Konrad Gerdberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gert Björklund having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Hasselfors's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Eriksson came free, but Gert Björklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. De Finska Lejonen's Adrian Stål played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magne Nyström in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magne Nyström in the 35th minute of play forced De Finska Lejonen's goalkeeper Adrian Stål to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magne Nyström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Adrian Stål tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
