Spectators: 7086 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Melker Tunberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Leo Arhenius notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mullhyttan's Jarl Lagerberg. Jarl Lagerberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Gunnar Qvalfeldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Mullhyttan getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Patrik Hellström hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Qvalfeldt in the 13th minute of play forced Mullhyttan's goalkeeper Jarl Lagerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarl Lagerberg didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AIK's Leo Arhenius shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Edvin Giöck's late challenge caught a Mullhyttan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edvin Giöck helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th match minute, AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvin Giöck to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Melker Tunberg came free, but Bengt Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarl Lagerberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Qvalfeldt in the 29th minute of play. Leo Arhenius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jarl Lagerberg having to make a save. In the 38th minute Melker Tunberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Svensson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Edvin Giöck was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 39 minutes had been played. A collision led to AIK getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Edvin Giöck hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Melker Tunberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Patrik Hellström took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bengt Svensson. Bengt Svensson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Mullhyttan's Melker Tunberg got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half AIK were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Melker Tunberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Bengt Svensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68thth minute of the game Melker Tunberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AIK's Bengt Svensson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Mats Falkrantz made a precise shot to the right of Bengt Svensson. AIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. 78 minutes into the match, AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Falkrantz came free, but Bengt Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bengt Svensson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melker Tunberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Leo Arhenius came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Arhenius couldn't finish the play. Leo Arhenius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bengt Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melker Tunberg in the 86th minute of play. Mats Falkrantz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mats Falkrantz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Svensson having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Simon Cane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AIK and the Mullhyttan players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Cane to maneuver through the defense. Bengt Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melker Tunberg in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the game, Sune Apelqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AIK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mullhyttan the free kick. The supporters of Mullhyttan booed when AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sune Apelqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AIK had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
