When Jesper Pihlwall came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Frölunda BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesper Pihlwall couldn't finish the play. Jesper Pihlwall received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filip Falkrantz came out and tried to block the shot, but Jesper Pihlwall slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. In the 33rd minute of the match Kenneth Hjortberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hampus Ekegren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Herman Brolin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl Gummeson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herman Brolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Falkrantz having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl Gummeson to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Ekegren in the 52nd minute of play forced Gråbo IF's goalkeeper Filip Falkrantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Gummeson kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the game, Frölunda BK's Jesper Pihlwall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filip Falkrantz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Gråbo IF's Isac Felin got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 63 minutes of play, Frölunda BK's Jesper Pihlwall made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filip Falkrantz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Karl Gummeson might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filip Falkrantz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl Gummeson ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Gråbo IF's zone, Jesper Pihlwall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Falkrantz came out of the goal and Jesper Pihlwall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hampus Ekegren didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 69th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. 72 minutes into the match, Jesper Pihlwall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Falkrantz. Gråbo IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jesper Pihlwall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Herman Brolin kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Frölunda BK's goalkeeper Hampus Ekegren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Göran Björklund. In the 77th minute Joel Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hampus Ekegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Gråbo IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Nyberg to maneuver through the defense. Filip Falkrantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Gummeson in the 87th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Charles Ekegren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gråbo IF! In the 100th minute there was a penalty for Frölunda BK. Jesper Pihlwall stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Filip Falkrantz. 5-1. There was no doubt that Frölunda BK were the better team. Frölunda BK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
