Spectators: 7283 (Terracing: 5464, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bengt Lund got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Karlsborg BK's Robert Ahlberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leif Julin. Leif Julin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Mad Bros's David Valler got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Ingvar Hök had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dan Vinström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Valler, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Ingvar Hök notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Karlsborg BK's Dan Vinström. Dan Vinström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leif Julin made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Robert Ahlberg sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Robert Ahlberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leif Julin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Hök in the 28th minute of play forced Karlsborg BK's goalkeeper Dan Vinström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Per Arhenius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Valler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dan Vinström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Morgan Myr hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Ingvar Hök left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mad Bros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Robert Ahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Leif Julin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Bengt Lund got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 46th minute Bengt Lund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Julin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when David Valler made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Mad Bros getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gert Ålberg hit a great ball. Bengt Lund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karlsborg BK's Dan Vinström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Valler in the 64th minute of play. David Valler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Vinström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Per Arhenius during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Mad Bros's Emanuel Martinsson tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 74th minute Robert Ahlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Julin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Bengt Lund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingvar Hök recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Valler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Vinström having to interfere. In the 93rd minute David Valler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Vinström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mad Bros had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
