Våmhus's Johnny Elg got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johnny Elg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th match minute, Mad Bros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Sjögren to maneuver through the defense. Leif Julin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jörgen Koch in the 15th minute of the match. Urban Björklund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Hök's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Urban Björklund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingvar Hök in the 28th minute. Johnny Elg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Julin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnny Elg in the 33rd minute of play forced Mad Bros's goalkeeper Leif Julin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute, Jörgen Koch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jörgen Koch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Julin having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Johnny Elg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Våmhus's supporters rose to their feet, but Johnny Elg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leif Julin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jörgen Koch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Leif Julin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Jörgen Koch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Våmhus's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörgen Koch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leif Julin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Valler to make the kick off. Leif Julin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnny Elg, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Johnny Elg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Julin having to interfere. In the 65th minute Ingvar Hök shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urban Björklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urban Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Valler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Samuel Dusett fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Våmhus's protests and gave Samuel Dusett a yellow card for diving instead. Samuel Dusett kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Jörgen Koch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Ingvar Hök notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Våmhus's Urban Björklund. Urban Björklund was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörgen Koch got free with Leif Julin in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 80 minutes, Jörgen Koch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Våmhus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörgen Koch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Valler struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Urban Björklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mad Bros. Urban Björklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fredric Lund in the 87th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Våmhus got a freekick which was hit by Edward Hylander. After a defensive mix-up in Våmhus's zone, Ingvar Hök stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urban Björklund came out of the goal and Ingvar Hök tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ingvar Hök received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Urban Björklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Valler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Urban Björklund having to make a save. The Mad Bros players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
