Spectators: 6985 (Terracing: 5300, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 4) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alvin Grönberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, George Nordström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flarken's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Nordström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, SydFF's Alvin Grönberg got a free kick in the 9th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Åberg in the 10th minute of play forced SydFF's goalkeeper Svante Algren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svante Algren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Åberg in the 11th minute of play. Svante Algren came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Flarken's George Nordström. But to his dismay, George Nordström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvin Grönberg got free with Martin Henriksson in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute, Greger Mellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Svante Algren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Nordström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Nordström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. SydFF's Svante Algren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Nordström in the 54th minute of play. Flarken's George Nordström got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in SydFF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! 0-2 came through a penalty shot after 61 played minutes, when Flarken:s Andy Berg calmly waited for SydFF:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. A collision led to SydFF getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Håkan Åström hit a great ball. If Mikael Åberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Åberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Flarken booed when SydFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josef Hök didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mikael Åberg struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Svante Algren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flarken. With a little luck, SydFF's Svante Algren got control of the ball when Mikael Åberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mikael Åberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Svante Algren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SydFF's Svante Algren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save SydFF from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle sounded Flarken left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than SydFF.
