Kristoffer Gernberg made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Arne Lindholm sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Gråsmarks FC booed when Röd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Arne Forsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arne Lindholm hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Jonny Kollberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Mikael Hammarström notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Röd's Gustav Haström. Gustav Haström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kristoffer Gernberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Forsberg in the 17th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Bengt-Arne Forsberg rounded Gråsmarks FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. After 25 minutes, Robin Lundqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gråsmarks FC and the Röd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th match minute, Gråsmarks FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robin Lundqvist to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Åke Kleen, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 29th minute, Gråsmarks FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arne Lindholm fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mikael Hammarström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Haström having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mikael Hammarström in the 34th minute of play forced Röd's goalkeeper Gustav Haström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bengt-Arne Forsberg struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Kristoffer Gernberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Röd. Arne Lindholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristoffer Gernberg having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mikael Hammarström to make the kick off. In the 62nd minute, Arne Lindholm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristoffer Gernberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 69th minute Niklas Granqvist collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Åke Björklund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustav Haström having to make a save. Åke Björklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Haström having to interfere. With a little luck, Röd's Gustav Haström got control of the ball when Åke Björklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Röd's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Hammarström came free, but Gustav Haström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arne Lindholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Kristoffer Gernberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gråsmarks FC's zone, Arne Lindholm stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristoffer Gernberg came out of the goal and Arne Lindholm tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Röd's Arne Lindholm got a free kick in the 87th minute. Mikael Hammarström struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gustav Haström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gråsmarks FC. In the 93rd minute, Åke Björklund made a precise shot to the right of Gustav Haström. Röd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.
