The FK Svane fans' excitement grew in the 5th match minute when FK Svane's Karl Olenberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Torgny Nyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Robert Västerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl Pihl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Samuelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Samuelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Torgny Nyman might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Västerstrand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torgny Nyman ran back to his position shaking his head. Torgny Nyman struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Robert Västerstrand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Svane. Karl Olenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Robert Västerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl Pihl was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Valentin Samuelsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Valentin Samuelsson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After 36 played minutes FK Svane got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Olof Rolandsson. Torgny Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torgny Nyman in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Västerstrand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hjuvik FC were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after FK Svane's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Osvald Ström took the corner. The supporters of FK Svane booed when Hjuvik FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Algot Colin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valentin Samuelsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Bengt Hermansson's late challenge caught a Hjuvik FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt Hermansson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FK Svane's Bengt Hermansson got a free kick in the 53rd minute. FK Svane's Karl Pihl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Samuelsson in the 54th minute of play. After some careless play in the FK Svane defense, Otto Smefeldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl Pihl. The FK Svane fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl Pihl should have stopped the shot. In the 61st minute of the match, Karl Olenberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robert Västerstrand saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Svane's goalkeeper Karl Pihl, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th match minute, FK Svane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesper Holmberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute Otto Smefeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Pihl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Olenberg in the 75th minute of play forced Hjuvik FC's goalkeeper Robert Västerstrand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Västerstrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Olenberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, Robert Västerstrand successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Robert Västerstrand didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Torgny Nyman went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. When Jesper Holmberg fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FK Svane's protests and gave Jesper Holmberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Jesper Holmberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Valentin Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 97th minute, Otto Smefeldt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl Pihl was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hjuvik FC had won after a very even match.
