Spectators: 7329 (Terracing: 5498, Seating: 1686, VIP seats: 145) After having played for 5 minutes, Johannes Johnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Väddö IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Johnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Väddö IFK's Sven-Erik Falck in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Röd's goalie prevented a goal. Sven-Erik Falck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustav Haström having to interfere. When Arne Lindholm got free in front of the goal in the 14th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Daniel Hedberg was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Sven-Erik Falck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Väddö IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Erik Falck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustav Haström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bengt-Arne Forsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Daniel Hedberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Röd's Gustav Haström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Erik Falck in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Arne Lindholm dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniel Hedberg, 1-0. After having played for 26 minutes, Ernst Heggert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Väddö IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernst Heggert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Väddö IFK getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ernst Heggert hit a great ball. If Arne Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bengt-Arne Forsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Daniel Hedberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Johannes Johnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt-Arne Forsberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Sven-Erik Falck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustav Haström. Röd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Erik Falck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Röd fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 49th minute. Penalty! Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bengt-Arne Forsberg to make the kick off. If Arne Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustav Haström came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Väddö IFK's Ernst Heggert. But to his dismay, Ernst Heggert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 70th minute Arne Lindholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Hedberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustav Haström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Erik Falck, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Sven-Erik Falck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven-Erik Falck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gustav Haström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arne Lindholm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Daniel Hedberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Röd's Arne Lindholm got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustav Haström didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 1-5. Sven-Erik Falck struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Gustav Haström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Väddö IFK. Sven-Erik Falck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Gustav Haström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Väddö IFK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
