Ernst Heggert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Väddö IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernst Heggert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Åke Björklund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Daniel Hedberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Gråsmarks FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Falck came free, but Kristoffer Gernberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Erik Falck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristoffer Gernberg having to interfere. Ernst Heggert did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Kristoffer Gernberg 45 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sven-Erik Falck to strike the kick off in the second half. Åke Björklund might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Hedberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Åke Björklund ran back to his position shaking his head. After 52 minutes, Jonny Kollberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gråsmarks FC and the Väddö IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonny Kollberg hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Andy Holmberg's late challenge caught a Väddö IFK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andy Holmberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th match minute, Väddö IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Erik Falck to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Erik Falck in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristoffer Gernberg saved Gråsmarks FC from getting behind. Kristoffer Gernberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Erik Falck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Gråsmarks FC's Jonny Kollberg got a free kick in the 73rd minute. When Sven-Erik Falck came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Väddö IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Erik Falck couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Ernst Heggert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the match, Gråsmarks FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Falck came free, but Kristoffer Gernberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Väddö IFK's Ernst Heggert got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Väddö IFK had played much better football throughout.
