After a rather tough play, Moskosel's Patrik Hedin got a free kick in the 9th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Moskosel's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Wallin came free, but Wictor Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dag Wallin in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wictor Lind saved Moskosel from getting behind. If Marcus Kaxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 34 minutes, Dag Wallin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Borgholm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dag Wallin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petter Gadd got free with Wictor Lind in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Dag Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petter Gadd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Wictor Lind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Patrik Hedin's late challenge caught a Borgholm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrik Hedin helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Moskosel getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Patrik Hedin hit a great ball. After 55 played minutes, Borgholm's Esbjörn Falk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wictor Lind came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Borgholm reached it. Wictor Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Gadd in the 58th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petter Gadd in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wictor Lind saved Moskosel from getting behind. Jonas Dahlquist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inge Olsson in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dag Wallin in the 67th minute of play forced Moskosel's goalkeeper Wictor Lind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes Moskosel got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Hedin. Östen Kämpe kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Dag Wallin struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Wictor Lind didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borgholm. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dag Wallin in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wictor Lind prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Moskosel's Patrik Hedin got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Patrik Hedin off the ground. After 95 played minutes Moskosel got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Hedin. Borgholm's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
