Spectators: 7244 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) Gargnäs BK's Johan Samuelsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Ove Abrahamsson in the 5th minute of play forced Gargnäs BK's goalkeeper Henry Barck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 played minutes Gargnäs BK got a freekick which was hit by Egon Hult. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elof Hääger got free with Georg Östensson in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Tranemo's goal looked a bit too open when Elof Hääger came free, but Georg Östensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elof Hääger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Georg Östensson having to interfere. Elof Hääger scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Georg Östensson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Gargnäs BK's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Ove Abrahamsson came free, but Henry Barck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henry Barck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Qvalfeldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Tom Qvalfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tranemo's supporters rose to their feet, but Tom Qvalfeldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Barck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute Tom Qvalfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Barck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Georg Östensson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elof Hääger, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute, Jan-Ove Abrahamsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Georg Östensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elof Hääger in the 70th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Gargnäs BK's goal looked a bit too open when Tom Qvalfeldt came free, but Henry Barck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tranemo's zone, Elof Hääger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Georg Östensson came out of the goal and Elof Hääger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Roy Morat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elof Hääger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Georg Östensson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elof Hääger went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Gargnäs BK's Elof Hääger got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
