With a little luck, Sandared's Oscar Andersson got control of the ball when Henry Thorsberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Oscar Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Thorsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Sandared's Fredric Britz got a free kick in the 57th minute. Edmund Mogren, 58 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 61 minutes, Henry Thorsberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iggesund RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Thorsberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sandared's Edvard Åkerström got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 86 played minutes Iggesund RK got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Mogren. 93 minutes into the game, Edvard Åkerström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Örjan Esbjörnsson. Edvard Åkerström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2.
