After having played for 4 minutes, Georg Lind managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juventus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Georg Lind was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mattias Valström kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Daniel Strömbom was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rune Nordlund took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thomas Bern. Thomas Bern dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 14th minute, Mikael Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Juventus FC's Georg Lind slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Berggren. That made the score 1-1 after 15 minutes of play. Rune Nordlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Thomas Bern tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Oscar Smedfeldt fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Juventus FC's protests and gave Oscar Smedfeldt a yellow card for diving instead. Oscar Smedfeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Per Söderberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mikael Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Daniel Berggren made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Samuel Siggesson sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Vallsta's Pelle Nyman got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Per Söderberg struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Thomas Bern didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vallsta. When Per Söderberg came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Vallsta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Söderberg couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per Söderberg was the one to do the kick off. Thomas Bern was a little too slow when Rune Nordlund got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 1-2. The supporters of Juventus FC booed when Vallsta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pelle Nyman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vallsta's zone, Samuel Siggesson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Berggren came out of the goal and Samuel Siggesson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 63 played minutes Vallsta got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Valström. 64 minutes into the match, Vallsta's goal looked a bit too open when Georg Lind came free, but Daniel Berggren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Berggren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Georg Lind's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. If Samuel Siggesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Georg Lind came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Juventus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georg Lind couldn't finish the play. Thomas Bern made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rune Nordlund in the 73rd minute. Per Söderberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Juventus FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Bernt Wiberg hit a great ball. Georg Lind sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Siggesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Rune Nordlund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vallsta's supporters rose to their feet, but Rune Nordlund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomas Bern breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Per Söderberg, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 93 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Thomas Bern was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Rune Nordlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Vallsta supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vallsta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
