After some careless play in the Iggesund RK defense, Per Söderberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Örjan Esbjörnsson. The Iggesund RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Örjan Esbjörnsson should have stopped the shot. Henry Thorsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Berggren having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Henry Thorsberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henry Thorsberg took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Daniel Berggren. Daniel Berggren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rune Nordlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andreas Åhman made a kick off. When Iggesund RK's Andreas Åhman in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vallsta's goalie prevented a goal. Vallsta's Rune Nordlund came free and shot a quick shot against goal 61 minutes in the game, fortunately Örjan Esbjörnsson had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Per Söderberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Iggesund RK's goal looked a bit too open when Per Söderberg came free, but Örjan Esbjörnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iggesund RK's Örjan Esbjörnsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Iggesund RK from getting a goal against them. Per Söderberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Söderberg in the 79th minute of play forced Iggesund RK's goalkeeper Örjan Esbjörnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Per Söderberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Iggesund RK's Örjan Esbjörnsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Iggesund RK's Mikael Skoog got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 96th minute, Anders Helberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
