Yngve Jonasson was a little too slow when Staffan Hård got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. When Börge Koch fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelsea FC's protests and gave Börge Koch a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Chelsea FC got a freekick which was hit by Börge Koch. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tord Carlsson got free with Yngve Jonasson in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Chelsea FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Stefan Aleberg hit a great ball. Tord Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yngve Jonasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Staffan Hård in the 23rd minute of the match. Yngve Jonasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Hedling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stefan Aleberg kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Tord Carlsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lysvik IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan Ferm during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Chelsea FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lysvik IF:s goal. The referee gave Lysvik IF a penalty, 33 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alf Petersson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chelsea FC's Yngve Jonasson. 3-0. Hannes Anselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Ahlstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th match minute, Chelsea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Lund to maneuver through the defense. Tord Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 43 played minutes, Lysvik IF's Alf Petersson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yngve Jonasson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lysvik IF reached it. In the 46th minute, Stefan Aleberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lars Hedling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Lars Hedling made the kick off in the second half. Lars Hedling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Anders Lund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anders Lund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hannes Anselius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Tord Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Chelsea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Carlsson came free, but Yngve Jonasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tord Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Yngve Jonasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anders Lund struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Hannes Anselius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsea FC. When Tord Carlsson came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Lysvik IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tord Carlsson couldn't finish the play. Yngve Jonasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Hedling, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Tord Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Lysvik IF players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
