Emanuel Åberg hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the match, sala ff's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Lidström came free, but Gustav Billing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute Pål Wallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Arhenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magnus Öberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Arhenius having to interfere. With a little luck, sala ff's Gustav Billing got control of the ball when Robert Termander tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Arne Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Termander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Gustav Billing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Varnhem BK's goal looked a bit too open when Pål Wallin came free, but Emil Arhenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arne Åkesson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 44 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gustav Billing was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Gustav Billing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Åkesson in the 46th minute of play. Magnus Öberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Arhenius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Magnus Öberg ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Magnus Öberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pål Wallin scored 1-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emil Arhenius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute Arne Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustav Billing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, sala ff's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Åkesson came free, but Gustav Billing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Varnhem BK getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Felix Torsberg hit a great ball. Varnhem BK's Emil Arhenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Öberg in the 68th minute of play. Gustav Billing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Varnhem BK's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Öberg came free, but Emil Arhenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Robert Termander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustav Billing didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arne Åkesson went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Åkesson in the 85th minute of play forced sala ff's goalkeeper Gustav Billing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carl Bruse charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl Bruse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carl Bruse kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Arne Åkesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Termander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Gustav Billing tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robert Termander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arne Åkesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the sala ff players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Varnhem BK.
