In the 3rd minute Andreas Axelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Åke Viklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Axelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Åke Viklund having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Richard Fernkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hallstahammar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Livsfarliga Bolltrollare the free kick. A collision led to Hallstahammar getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Richard Fernkvist hit a great ball. Andreas Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jens-Åke Viklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hallstahammar's goalkeeper Jens-Åke Viklund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nils Sävström was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Hallstahammar's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Nils Sävström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Mikael Rosendahl made a huge save. Mikael Rosendahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Hedkvist in the 35th minute of play. Andreas Axelsson struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Jens-Åke Viklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Livsfarliga Bolltrollare. Nils Sävström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikael Rosendahl having to interfere. Livsfarliga Bolltrollare's Mikael Rosendahl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Hedkvist in the 46th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Livsfarliga Bolltrollare's zone, Jörgen Hedkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikael Rosendahl came out of the goal and Jörgen Hedkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Göran Jansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andreas Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jens-Åke Viklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nils Sävström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils Sävström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mikael Rosendahl having to make a save. In the 70th minute Jörgen Hedkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikael Rosendahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Åke Viklund came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Livsfarliga Bolltrollare's Andreas Axelsson. But to his dismay, Andreas Axelsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Livsfarliga Bolltrollare's Andreas Axelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andreas Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joachim Björnsson hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Niclas Hökqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Livsfarliga Bolltrollare's supporters rose to their feet, but Niclas Hökqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Åke Viklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Hallstahammar's Jens-Åke Viklund got control of the ball when Andreas Axelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andreas Axelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Åke Viklund having to interfere.
