An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Nyman in the 9th minute of play forced Knäred IK's goalkeeper Arvin Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krister Bredberg kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Valter Lenberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute Manfred Nyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vilgot Jakobsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfred Nyman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Manfred Nyman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Arvin Blom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ralf Erserman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arvin Blom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Henry Jakobsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Knäred IK getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Vilgot Jakobsson hit a great ball. Henry Jakobsson charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henry Jakobsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 80thth minute of the game Ralf Erserman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knäred IK's Arvin Blom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81 played minutes Knäred IK got a freekick which was hit by Krister Bredberg. Grödinge IFK's Ralf Erserman got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Despite being the better team, Grödinge IFK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
