The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes Владимир Путин BK got a freekick which was hit by Erland Svensson. After recieving a nice pass, Juicy balls's Hampus Gallin tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Arman Sandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After having played for 11 minutes, Ture Stabbe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juicy balls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ture Stabbe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Juicy balls's Ernst Sandwall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Davids made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Edgar Davids didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ture Stabbe went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Börje Falk during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Владимир Путин BK booed when Juicy balls was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börje Falk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgar Davids made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ture Stabbe in the 33rd minute of play. Владимир Путин BK's Edgar Davids played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Söderqwist in the 38th minute of play. Ture Stabbe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Davids having to interfere. Edgar Davids took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Söderqwist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Erik Öman hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. If Thomas Söderqwist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Söderqwist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Davids having to interfere. The Владимир Путин BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Juicy balls were winning 0-2.

Tommy Alberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Olofsson in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Hans Kvarnström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Владимир Путин BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Hans Kvarnström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Alberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the game, Hans Juhlin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juicy balls's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Владимир Путин BK the free kick. In the 57th match minute, Juicy balls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Juhlin to maneuver through the defense. When Hans Kvarnström came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Владимир Путин BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Kvarnström couldn't finish the play. Thomas Söderqwist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Edgar Davids tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Thomas Söderqwist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edgar Davids. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 82ndth minute of the game Hans Kvarnström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Juicy balls's Tommy Alberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Hans Juhlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Владимир Путин BK defense, Ture Stabbe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Davids. The Владимир Путин BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Davids should have stopped the shot. After 92 played minutes Juicy balls got a freekick which was hit by Hans Juhlin. Tommy Alberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Olofsson in the 94th minute of the match. Edgar Davids showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Söderqwist, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Juicy balls played a much better game than Владимир Путин BK and deserved their victory. The Владимир Путин BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
