Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Tjörnarp's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Ove Algren came free, but Göran Dahlqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Konrad Strömberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karlskoga FK's Jarl Bergkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Ekblom in the 74th minute of play. Jarl Bergkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl Ersman in the 81st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tjörnarp's zone, Karl-Ove Algren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. When the final whistle went the supporters of Tjörnarp were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Karlskoga FK side.
