Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tord Hellbom started the match with the kick off. If Tord Hellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bernt Wikander fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kälarne's protests and gave Bernt Wikander a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Kälarne got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Wikander. Tord Hellbom scored 1-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Folke Harman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Hellbom in the 25th minute of play forced Kälarne's goalkeeper Folke Harman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Tord Hellbom took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Folke Harman to make any attempt to save it. Folke Harman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tord Hellbom's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Folke Harman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tord Hellbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Kälarne's goalkeeper Folke Harman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johannes Persson. Jack Alefors hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Tord Hellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Folke Harman having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Persson in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Folke Harman saved Kälarne from getting behind. In the 45th minute Tord Hellbom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Harman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Henry Glad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karlssons fotboll's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Glad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Harman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernt Wikander to make the kick off. Tord Hellbom might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Folke Harman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tord Hellbom ran back to his position shaking his head. Henry Glad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the game, Kälarne's Bernt Wikander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wiktor Åkerström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Tord Hellbom put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Folke Harman. Tord Hellbom might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Folke Harman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tord Hellbom ran back to his position shaking his head. Billy Låsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Bernt Wikander reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wiktor Åkerström. The goal made the score 3-2. Tord Hellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Folke Harman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tord Hellbom in the 79th minute of the match. Alfred Ånger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Wiktor Åkerström made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Kälarne's zone, Tord Hellbom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Harman came out of the goal and Tord Hellbom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Johannes Persson took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Folke Harman. Folke Harman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 89th minute, Henry Glad left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karlssons fotboll fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. After having played for 94 minutes, Bernt Wikander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kälarne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernt Wikander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Karlssons fotboll had played much better football throughout.
